PALMYRA: Lowery, Phyllis J., 80, died on Thursday, November 30, 2017.  Family and friends are invited to call from 2-4pm on Sunday, December 3 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 West Main Street, Palmyra. A graveside  service will be held at 11am on Monday, December 4th in South Lyons Cemetery.

    Phyllis was born on November 18, 1937 in Roderfield, West Virginia to Charles and Idabell Abrams Phillips. She was a former member of Assembly of God and Oasis of Hope Churches in Palmyra. Phyllis devoted her life to caring for her family.  

    Mrs. Lowery is survived by her sons Thomas (Kim), Charles (Julie)and Robert (MaryEllen) Lowery; sisters Barbara Reeves and Irene Napier; brother Charles Phillips grandchildren Beth Ann, Erin, Peter and Emma; step-grandchildren Brandilynn Sager and Samantha Howell; great-grandchildren Jae, Jordan and Jaidyn Jackson, Gabriella and Mason Teed; step-great-grandchildren Quinn Howell and Kevin and Mason Sager. She was predeceased by her husband William W. Lowery and her brothers Ballard, Hershel and Clarence Phillips.
