Geraldine M. “Gerry” Bavis

Palmyra:  Geraldine Bavis died Saturday, October 14, 2017, with her loving family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Floyd; grandson Eric Goodwin and sisters and brothers.

Gerry was born Geraldine M. Horihan on January 10, 1926 in Preble, MN.  She retired as a Regional Manager from Field Enterprises.  Gerry was an avid quilter and enjoyed gardening, camping, birds and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by children Kathleen (Herb Kane) Bavis, Thomas (Ann) Bavis, Gary Bavis, Jacalyn (John) Condie, Bonnie Olson and Betsy (Terry) Goodwin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to call Thursday, October 19th, from 4-7pm at Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, 123 W. Main St., Palmyra.  A funeral mass will be held Friday, October 20th, at 10:00am at St. Patrick’s Church, 52 Main St., Macedon.  Burial will follow in Palmyra Cemetery.
