Pittsford: Scherner, William T.; died on Friday, December 20, 2024 at the age of 63. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held in the spring. Please consider memorials in his name to the American Cancer Society.

     Bill was a carpenter by trade and took great pride in his work. He was meticulous and was respected by his coworkers and employer. Bill was known as a kind, generous and good hearted man.

    Bill was predeceased by his mother Mary Lou Scherner; father Thomas Scherner; brother Frederick Scherner and brother-in-law Douglas Thompson. He is survived by his sister Catherine Thompson; niece Erin (Nicholas) Kolenko; great-nephew Wesley and friends Matt, Rob and Arnie.
