PALMYRA: Waite, Virginia M., died on Thursday, September 22, 2106 at the age of 78.

Graveside services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, September 27 in Palmyra Cemetery. Please consider memorials to the Humane Society of Monroe County at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd, Fairport, NY 14450.

     Virginia was born on November 4, 1937 in Potsdam, New York the daughter of Nelson and Clara Brown Mallette. Throughout her life Virginia enjoyed crocheting and collecting pigs. In recent years she found comfort in reading and coloring and cherished her beloved dogs, especially Laci.

     Virginia was predeceased by her husband Lawrence in 2012 and her son Larry Jr. She is survived by her daughter Debra Waite; sons Douglas Waite and Dwayne (Fred) Duell-Waite; sister Elaine Clemons; brother Richard Mallette; grandchildren Brian, Danielle and Phillip; great-grandchildren Crystal, Chad and Austin and great-great-grandchildren Jadon, Brianna, Jake, Tyler and Carter.
