Sodus Point/Palmyra: Sue VanDevelde, 64, passed away early Saturday morning, July 8, 2023 at her home. Friends and family are invited to her funeral mass; Friday, July 14 at 11am at St. Anne’s Church, 136 Church Street, Palmyra. Burial in St. Anne's Cemetery will be private. A celebration of Sue’s life will continue immediately following the mass at the VFW, 4306 NY-31, Palmyra. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the family by visiting the link below. Sue was born on May 3, 1959 in Rochester the daughter of the late Richard and Honey (Hughes) Dooley. She was a 1977 Graduate of Our Lady of Mercy. She loved spending time with her family on the lake in the summers and traveling to Florida in the winters. Her biggest joy in life were her grandkids who she spoiled endlessly. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Phillip; her children Hollie (Christopher) Campbell and Bryan VanDevelde; her grandchildren, Myles and Evelyn Campbell, Aviana Reintjes and Camron Sanon; her sisters Cindy (Bill) Byam and Lori (Brian) Antonelli; a brother Stephen (Rebecca) Dooley; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her sister Kathleen Seely and brother Richard Dooley.
