PALMYRA: Hughson, Ryan C., died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the age of 23. Family and friends are invited to call from 3-6pm on Tuesday, October 28 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 West Main St., Palmyra. A gathering to celebrate Ryan's life will follow at the Palmyra Moose Lodge, 3808 State Route 31, Palmyra. Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family. Ryan was born on October 17, 1991 in Newark, New York to Mark C. and Kristy J. Ulrich Hughson. He was a 2009 graduate of Palmyra-Macedon High School and received his Bachelors Degree from St. Bonaventure University in 2013 where he was currently pursuing his Masters Degree in business. Throughout his youth Ryan enjoyed sports and had participated in baseball, soccer and track at Pal-Mac. An avid Yankees and Packers fan, he shared his love of sports through coaching youth baseball, U15 travel teams and worked as a summer camp program director for Palmyra Community Center. Ryan was looking forward to pursuing his dream to travel the world.

In addition to his parents Mark and Kristy, Ryan is survived by his brother Ricky; maternal grandmother Joann Ulrich: paternal grandparents Richard and Donna Hughson; aunts and uncles Mike(Kathleen)Hughson, Karen(Ray)Kelly, Kathy Ulrich, Kevin Ulrich and Kyle(Pam)Ulrich; 4 cousins and many, many friends. He was predeceased by an infant sister Kaleigh and his paternal grandfather Thomas Ulrich.
