PALMYRA: Smith, Ronald L.; died on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are invited to call from 5-8pm on Tuesday, April 27 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 W. Main St., Palmyra. Covid precautions must be observed. Please join the family for graveside committal prayers on Wednesday, April 28 at 11am in Palmyra Village Cemetery. Ronald was born on October 27, 1944 the son of Burton and Doris Hall Smith. He had enjoyed farming and most recently had worked for Mobil Chemical in Macedon. Ronald loved his many nieces and nephews and never missed their sporting events. He enjoyed bingo and a good game of cards but the one thing he was sure to never miss was Thanksgiving dinner. Ronald is survived by his siblings Betty (William, deceased) McNally, Doris (Floyd, deceased) Pulcini, Hazel (Charles) Schwartz, Robert (Joyce, deceased) Smith, David (Sharon) Smith, Freddy (Carol) Smith, Larry (Evie) Smith and Carolyn (Erwin, deceased) Herman.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and one great-great nephew. Ron is predeceased by his sister Lois Pratt and her husband Louis and his brother Earl Smith and his wife Marilyn.
