MARION/PALMYRA: Francis, Ronald W., died on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the age of 78. Family and friends are invited to call from 5-8pm on Tuesday, September 15 at the Robert L. Ron was born on March 6, 1937 in Canandaigua, New York the son of George and Ethel Cabic Francis. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Palmyra American Legion Post #120. The funeral home proudly flies the United States Army flag in honor of Ron's service to our country. Ron was an avid hunter, and enjoyed shooting sports, four wheeling and owning and racing horses.

Mr. Francis was predeceased by his wife Donna; sister Marian Brown and brothers Robert and Bill Francis. He is survied by his daughter Sandra (Ben) Huey; son Scott (Donna) Francis; sisters Bea Murray and Eileen Francis; grandchildren Nicole, Tara (Chris) Howell, Danielle and Eric; great-grandchildren Leif, Sierra, Lily and Draven and many nieces and nephews. Ron was a special friend, mentor and father figure to many; especially Dean Heckman.
