PALMYRA: Skinkle, Richard C. “Ric”; died suddenly on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the age of 65. A celebration of Ric’s life will be planned in the future. Please consider memorials in Ric’s name to the East Palmyra Fire Dept., 2145 Tellier Rd., Palmyra, NY 14522.

     Ric was born on September 10, 1958 in Rochester, NY the son of Clifford and Grace (Edwards) Skinkle. He and the former Denise Campbell were married on August 8, 1992 in Honeoye, NY. Ric was a veteran of the United States Air Force and the Army Reserves. The funeral home proudly flies the United States Air Force flag in honor of Ric’s service to our country. Ric retired from Berry Plastics (Mobil Chemical) in Macedon. He was a third generation firefighter and member of the East Palmyra Fire Department. Ric had been a wrestling and softball coach at Lyons High School and was an avid golfer in his spare time.

     Ric is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife Denise; children Collyn (partner Jon VanEss) Skinkle and  Craig Skinkle; sisters Barbara White and Wendy Whitcomb; cousins Bob and Kate Ludwig and several nieces and nephews.
