PALMYRA: Caterino, Nicholas P. “Nick”; died on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the age of 88. Family and friends are invited to call from 5-7pm on Wednesday, January 18 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 West Main Street, Palmyra. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.      Nick was known for mowing lawns around the community and as the cook at Athenia Restaurant. He was an avid Yankee and sports fan and found great pleasure in playing his trumpet. The funeral home proudly flies the United States Army flag in honor of Nick's service to our country.

     Nick will be fondly remembered by his wife Georgeann Caterino; sons Gordon (Cathy) Burkett and Gary (Mary Lou) Burkett; eight grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predeceased by his son Gregory Burkett.
