PALMYRA: VanMaldeghem, Mitchell L.; died on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the age of 64. Private graveside services will be held in East Palmyra Cemetery. Mitch was born on February 14, 1957 in Newark, New York to Gordon and Helen Herman VanMaldeghem, He had worked as a self-employed contractor and was a member of the James R. Hickey Sons of the American Legion Squad #120 where he had served as Commander, County Commander and Representative to SAL District 7. Mitch is predeceased by his parents and a sister Sonya Ellsworth. He is survived by his son Mitchell VanMaldeghem; grandson Patrick Lee VanMaldeghem; sister Julie Keenan and several nieces and nephews.
