PALMYRA: Rose, Marguerite A., died on Friday, June 26, 2009 at the age of 92. Family and friends are invited to call from 11-1am on Wednesday, July 1 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 West Main Street, Palmyra where a funeral service will be held at 1pm. Burial will be in Lyons Rural Cemetery. Marguerite was born on June 30, 1916 in Alloway, New York the daughter of William and Emma Malchow Rose. She was a graduate of Clyde High School and retired from Newark DDSO after 37 years of service. Mrs. Rose was a faithful member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Newark. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews and their families, Margaret Brand of Waterloo; Mary Jane Ahearn of Auburn; Mary Eleanor Richie of Ohio; Charles Kise of Waterloo and Robert (Marge) Gunkler of Phelps. Mrs. Rose was predeceased by her sisters Mabel Kise, Gertrude Gunkler, Mary Lane and Helen Noble and brothers William and John Rose.
