Luis Vega, 86, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, May 3, 2021 at his daughter’s home, with his loving and supporting family by his side. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of his life on Saturday May 8^th , 1:00pm at Cross Creek Church, 3700 Rte 31, Palmyra NY. Luis was born April 22, 1935 in Cumano Puerto Rico the son of the late Isidoro and Nitza (Alvarado) Vega. Luis was also a Macedon Resident for over 45 years, and retired in 1993 from Xerox at the age of 58. When not working, Luis enjoyed the outdoors, animals and horse racing. Luis is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lydia Ortiz-Vega; his daughter Lillie (Michael) DeGennaro; his sons Luis Vega Jr. and Colin Vega (Sheryl); many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sisters Eva and Judy; his brothers Wilson, William and Anibia; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Angie Nilda; brothers Ruben, Carlos, David and Ismahal. Luis requested all memorial contributions be directed to the
