PALMYRA: Freeland, Laurie G.; 70, passed away peacefully July 3, 2015 after an extended illness. Survived by her loving Husband Harold of 34 years and her children; daughter Mrs. Dawn (Mark) LaBenne of Waterloo; son Mr. Rich (Sandy) Clayton of Phelps; daughters Justine (Kiki) Landschoot of Waterloo, Mrs. Norma (Bill) Snyder of Lyons; step-children, Mrs. Julie (Rick ) Larose, Mr. Lyn (Victoria) Swarthout of Waterloo, Mrs. Susan (David ) Wilson of Bellona, Mr. David (Cindy) Freeland of Palmyra, Mr. Rick Freeland of Colorado, Ms. Rochelle Freeland of New Jersey; 18 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Mrs. Nelda (Bob) Kenville of Sodus, and brother Mr. Jim Henson of Newark. Laurie is predeceased by her Parents, Burnell and Helen Henson; sisters Cindy Backus, Charlotte Sayre, and Bobbie Pugh and her stepson Randy Freeland. Laurie had a love for fishing, bowling, dancing, and her gardening. She was loved by everyone and will be missed by all. Friends are invited to call from 3-5 and 7-9pm on Mon., July 6 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 W. Main St., Palmyra. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Tues., July 7 in Palmyra Cemetery (please meet at the Vienna St. entrance).
