Jean M. Martin

PALMYRA/SARANAC LAKE, NY;; Jean “Jeannie” M. Martin, passed away peacefully after a long, debilitating illness on May 10, 2024. Remembrance services will be planned in the future. Please consider donations to help with funeral expenses by using the donations tab above.

      Jean was born on March 18, 1955 in Saranac Lake, NY. She graduated in 1973 from Saranac Lake High School and attended SUNY New Paltz and Empire State Colleges. Jeannie worked for various NYS agencies as a Mental Health Counselor.

She had lived in and traveled to various states and was a talented lifelong artist. Her artwork has appeared in many shows and is cherished by the many people who have received her pieces.

      Jean is predeceased by her parents Fred and Loretta Martin. She is survived by all six of her siblings; Bill Martin, Paul (Pota) Martin, Phil Martin, Gordon (Dena) Martin, Tina Martin and their beloved dog Lily, Dan (Michelle) Martin and Gloria Daniels. She is also survived byher nieces and nephews Bill, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Megan, Jillian, Kendra, Madilyn, Gwyneth, Reese, Henrik, Dennis and Natalie.
