Stoic, Respected, Loved

 9/25/1928 – 10/1/2015

Palmyra: Ekstrom Sr., Eric R., 87 years old, predeceased by wife Alice, father Frank and mother Margaret; brother Irving and sisters Grace and Dolores. Survived by his seven children, Dawn (Wayne) Groves, Daryle (Lynn) Schiltz, Jacklyn (Terry) Law, Janet (late Gary) McPike, Eric Jr (Lynn), Jill (Mike) Reed and Sally (Dan) Breen as well as 26 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Eric, also know as “Ex” lived a simple life of work and family. He touched all who knew him with poise, humility and integrity. A special corner in heaven awaits him.

A memorial service will be held at Cross Creek Church, Rt. 31 in Palmyra at 11am on Monday, October 12. Services will also be held at 3pm on Saturday, October 17 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in West Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Crest Manor Nursing Home.
