SHORTSVILLE: Gliewe, Edwin Bruce, died on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the age of 85. Burial with military honors will be at 3pm on Monday, October 24 in Riverview Cemetery, Clifton Springs. A memorial service will be held at 5pm on Monday at Landmark Free Will Baptist Church, 2143 Rt. 96, Clifton Springs. The family will receive friends following the service in the church hall.       Bruce was born on October 20, 1931 in Rochester, NY the son of Edwin H. and Unada Hinckly Gliewe. The funeral home proudly flies the United States Air Force flag in honor of his service to our country. Bruce and the former Dorothy Goodier were married on April 20, 1977 in State College, PA. Mr. Gliewe had an interest in aircraft and was active with the Historic Aircraft Group of Geneseo, NY. Bruce is survived by his wife Dotty and sister Unada Gliewe.
