PALMYRA: Button, Doris Jeane, 82, died on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Family and friends are invited to call from 5-7pm on Tuesday June 21 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 West Main Street, Palmyra. A memorial service will follow calling at 7pm. She was known as the family member who was always anxious to bring a dish to family gatherings. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers and had a special love for her children and grandchildren. Doris is predeceased by her parents Walter Button and Stella Mae Green Button. She is survived by her daughters Gloria (Harold) Griffin, Lynda (Lenny) Finley, Kathie (Chis Bavis) Smith and Joyce (Albert) Paro; son Scott (Amber) Smith; sister Ruth Rook; brother Richard Button; grandchildren Jeremy Griffin, Jason (Meghan) Smith, Ricky (Amber) Bavis, Steven (Juliet) Finley, Shari (Steven) Bavis, Justin DeCook, Matthew DeCook, Brandon Smith and Alyssa Smith; great-grandchildren Tiffani Griffin and Blaze Griffin, Ryan Bavis and Leanna Bavis, Mia Raabe, Avery Smith, Brooklynn Husa, Raylana Griffin and Roseallena and her beloved dog Goldie and parrot Pretty Pretty.
