PALMYRA: Merritt, Donna Jean; died on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the age of 51. Please join the family for a graveside service at 11am on Wednesday, May 22 in East Palmyra Cemetery. Contributions in Donna’s memory may be directed to the American Lung Association, 1595 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620.

Donna is survived by her daughter Christy (Houndrea) Lewis Sr.; sons David (Lauren Carney) Merritt Jr. and Christopher (Sasha) Merritt; sisters Carol (Alan) Herrmman Sr. and Kimberley (Kenny Hankey) Converse; brother John Bednar Jr. and 9 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Iva and John Bednar Sr. and grandson Joseph “Joe Joe” Brown.
