Port Gibson: Farnsworth, Dolores A. “Aunt DeDe”; 12/25/1933 – 08/22/2024; predeceased by her mother Nelia (Blankenberg) Farnsworth; brother Richard; sisters and brother’s-in-law Doris and William Bush and Barbara and John Wood; nephew and niece William and Debbie Bush; great-nephew Alan Bush; nephew-in-law Larry Parker. She is survived by nephew Richard (Tricia) Bush; nieces Dolores “Pokey” Parker and Denise (Steve) Rosenberger; great nieces Jennifer and Dana Bush, Rachael (Dave) Mattice, Jessica Bush, Sonia Rosenberger; great-nephews Greg Chrysler, Mike (Aubrey) Parker and Chris Rosenberger and many other family members and friends.

    DeDe was born in East Palmyra, NY on Christmas Day with twin sister Doris. She led a full life in 90 years. In her younger years she enjoyed camping, fishing and baseball. She continued to hunt until she was 86 years young. She was employed by Jackson Perkins, CH Stuart and Voplex. DeDe was a lifelong member of the Port Gibson United Methodist Church. Contributions in her memory may be directed to the Port Gibson United Methodist Church, Port Gibson Fire Department or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

  Per her request a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
