Collette was born on April 19, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York to Vincenzo and Sophia Lesko Persico. She was married to Kenneth D. Gavin on June 27th, 1964 in Brooklyn. Mrs. Gavin is predeceased by her parents Vincenzo and Sophia Persico. She is survived by her husband Kenneth D. Gavin; daughter Collette Herrmann; son Kenneth Gavin; brothers Carmine and Eddie Persico; grandchildren Jessica Fromoltz, Kenny Gavin Jr., Justin Herrmann, Nicholas Gavin and Alyssa Gavin and several special friends.
