Carolyn L. (Francis) Green

Wayland: Green, Carolyn Lillian; formerly of Palmyra; died on Monday, May 26, 2025 at the age of 81.  Carolyn was born on June 19, 1943 in Canandaigua, NY the daughter of Roy M. and Charlotte E. Cabic Francis.  She was raised and lived in Hemlock, NY.

     Carolyn enjoyed gardening, animals and square dancing. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed helping people. Carolyn had worked at many jobs but the one she talked about the most was working at the ARC Home caring for the people there.

     Carolyn is predeceased by her parents; husband Steven Green; sister Gerry Copp; brothers Roy Francis Jr and Billy Francis. She is survived by her sister Amy (Harold) Brown; daughter Teresa Cicero; sons Jeff (Cella) Smith and Vic Smith; grandchildren Rachel (Josh) Hines, Madiline Smith, Riley Cicero, Jared Cicero and Andrew Cicero and Adam (Megan) Smith, Kyle (Nicole) Smith and Holly (Danny) Hawkins; great-grandchildren Ashlin Hines, Avery Smith and Olivia Smith.

Family and friends are invited to call from 2-4pm on Saturday, May 31 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 W. Main St., Palmyra. Prayers of committal will be offered at a future time and date in Wayland Village Cemetery, Wayland, NY.
