Palmyra: Gedney, Audrey J.; died on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are invited to call from 4-6pm on Thursday, August 15 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 W. Main St., Palmyra. Audrey was born on March 31, 1956 the daughter of Hollis and Mary Ann Schutt Powell. She was a retiree of Garlock Sealing Technologies in Palmyra. Audrey and Bill enjoyed many cruises to the Caribbean and had spent 24 years at Paradise Park in Reading, NY where they have made many wonderful friends and memories. Audrey is predeceased by her mother Mary Ann Fagner; father Hollis Powell; step-father Ernie Fagner; son Shawn Gedney; grandson Nivek Gedney and father-in-law Douglas “Roy” Gedney. She is survived by her husband William R. “Bill” Gedney; son Jeremy (Tonya Backus) Gedney; mother-in-law Helen Gedney; sisters Laurie McDaniels and Julia House; brother Guy Arthur Powell; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many, many friends.
