Antoinette "Dolly" Nussbaumer Obituary

Palmyra: Dolly Nussbaumer, 95, peacefully passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Sunnyside Care Center in Syracuse. Dolly was born July 12, 1929, the daughter of the late Dominic and Josepine (Ruffalo) Bilotto. Dolly was raised in Newark, and graduated from The Newark High School class of 1949. Both her and her husband worked at Garlock and retired from there. Dolly was a member of Cross Creek Church in Palmyra. She was an active member of their bible study groups as well as an active volunteer whenever needed. Dolly loved participating in bowling leagues in both Palmyra and Newark. She was an active member in the community, never missing a Parade, Palmyra Fair or any senior activities offered by the community. Dolly enjoyed walking for exercise and continued right up until her last few weeks of her life. She leaves behind her dear and dedicated friend Niki Jordan who made her life a little brighter. As well as her friends from Cross Creek Church and her nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John; her sisters Carmen Pulice, Caroline Santoro and Loretta VerDow. A grave side service will be at the convenience of the family in Palmyra Cemetery. The family request memorial contributions to be directed to Cross Creek Church, 3700 Route 31, Palmyra, New York 14522.
