Rochester: Stella Wilkins, 90, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 with members of her family at her bedside. She was predeceased by her husband, William J. Wilkins, her daughter, Elizabeth A. (Wilkins) Musclow, her parents, John and Emma (Smolinsky) Bojczuk, and all of her 10 siblings: John; Joey; Rocky; Mary; Millie; Helen; Anna; Matilda; Theresa, and Lena. She is survived by her four children: Mary J. (Wilkins) Carafos; Lena M. Wilkins; William M. (Shelly) Wilkins, and Jeffrey J. Wilkins, and by her grandchildren: Macrina and Anneliese Wilkins; Brian Musclow; Chris and Kevin Carafos; Kristina (Nick) Imburgia; and Justin, Marisa, and Corey Wilkins, and great grandchild, Julian Wilkins. Stella was born December 28, 1927 in Lyons. She moved to Rochester and worked at Eastman Kodak where she met her husband. They settled in Webster and raised five children. Following her husband’s sudden, untimely death, Stella returned to work at Kodak, retiring in 1986. She enjoyed bowling and participated in bowling leagues for many years. She was kind, loving and always looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate her life at a Funeral Mass at 11:30 am at St. Rita’s Church in Webster on Wednesday, August 29. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Stella’s family request memorial contributions be directed in her memory to Rochester Presbyterian Home (RPH), 256 Thurston Road, Rochester, New York 14619. Her family is thankful of the outstanding, compassionate care Stella received at RPH for the last 10 years of her life.
