NEWARK: Kniest Sr., Robert F.; 82, December 5th, 2018. He is survived by his wife 62 years, Angie Kniest; his brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Janet Kniest of Elma, Washington; nephew Michael Kniest; his children, Loren Kniest and Annette (Kniest) Yost; daughters-in-law Judy (Pellicano) Johnson and Penny (DeToye) Kniest; his grandchildren Amy Kniest, Robert "Bobby" F. Kniest, III, Ashley Yost, Joshua Yost, Aleesha Kniest, Brandon Kniest and step-daughter Amanda Johnson; and many great grandchildren. Bob was predeceased by his sons, Robert F. Kniest, Jr and Donald Kniest and his parents, Elmer and Clara Kniest. Bob worked for 35 years and retired from the American Can Company in Fairport, NY.  Angie and Bob worked together to implement the rural Timesaver delivery in Palmyra NY. He was the Caretaker and Trustee of the Port Gibson Rural Cemetery in Port Gibson, NY. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
