NEWARK: Yonker, Marise R., died on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the age of 87. Family and friends are invited to call from 3-5pm on Wednesday, March 1 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 West Main Street, Palmyra. A funeral service will follow calling at 5pm. Private burial will be in Huron Evergreen Cemetery.

     Marise had worked for Sibleys in the Newark Plaza, had also been a telephone operator and retired from Newark DDSO. She was kind and liked by everyone. Marise never forgot a family birthday.

     Mrs. Yonker is survived by her son Robert King; brother Robert (Bernice) McWharf; brother-in-law Donald Neal; niece Tammie McWharf; nephew Randy McWharf and several cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Floyd “Jack” Yonker; sisters Marge Neal and Mae Jean Dillman and  and brother-in-law Jack Dillman.
