PALMYRA: Hulbert, Eleanor P.; 83, died on Fri., July 6, 2018. Family and friends are invited to call from 6–7pm on Wed., July 11 at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 W. Main St., Palmyra. Eleanor was born on Oct. 11, 1934 in South Butler, New York the daughter of Harry and Genevieve Graham Pitts. She had been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and was active with the Palmyra Senior Citizens. After a career at Jackson & Perkins, Ellie had retired from Crossman Arms in Bloomfield where she served as the company first aid person. She also had a successful cake decorating business and was an excellent gardener and fisherwoman. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Norman Hulbert. She is survived by her daughter Janet Perkins and son-in-law Assel Aldehasy; son Gary Rood and devoted daughter in law Debbie, sister Brenda Norsen; brothers Alfred and Walter Pitts and grandchildren Joel and Joshua Nichols, Marisa (Malcolm) Daniels, Tallon and Jeremy Rood.  She was a great mom, grandmother and friend to all.
