MACEDON: Esley, Edna, passed away on Nov. 9, 2017 at the age of 98. Predeceased by her husband Homer and parents Edward and Lena Kingsley Backus, she is survived by her nieces, nephews and several good friends. Private interment will be in Furnaceville Cemetery, Ontario, NY. Edna was a retiree of Greece Central Schools where she taught for over 33 years. She enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. Edna and Homer traveled extensively and shared over 60 years of marriage. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those wishing may contribute to a charity of your choice.
