SHORTSVILLE: Holdforth, Donald A.; died on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the age of 45 following a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be held from 10 -11am on Friday, October 5 at Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 W. Main St., Palmyra. A memorial service will follow at 11am.     Donny was born on July 23, 1973 in Canandaigua, NY the son of Samuel and Jeannine Darling Holdforth. Don was something of a technology wiz and in his spare time enjoyed cooking, tending to his tomatoes and watching New York Yankees baseball.. He had a strong faith in Jesus Christ. He is predeceased by his parents and a sister Jeannine Louise Holdforth. Donny is survived by his brothers Samuel (Joan) Holdforth Jr., Thomas (Josephine) Holdforth, Robert Holdforth and Timothy Holdforth and extended family members.
