ROCHESTER/PALM BAY, FL.: Simmons, Dawn E. (Adams): died on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her home in Florida at the age of 48.  A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, August 11 at 10am at St. Anne's Church in Palmyra. A reception will follow in the church dining room.      Dawn was born on March 15, 1970 in Dallas, Texas the daughter of Jimmie Don and Muriel Gomes Adams. She graduated from John Marshall High School in Rochester in 1988. Dawn enjoyed country music and she loved photography. Her family was very important to her and she will be remembered as a generous caregiver.

     Dawn was predeceased by her father Jimmie Don Adams; paternal grandparents Minnie and Rucker Adams and maternal grandparents Marie and Wilfred Gomes. She is survived by her longtime companion Donald Schichler; mother Muriel Adams; children Christina Williams, Robert (Gina) Hotchkiss and Joshua Hotchkiss; sister Donna (Dave) Selner; brother David Adams; nieces and nephews Billy (Melissa) Selner, Angela (Dan) DeClerck, Julie (Anthony) Ricciuto and Maggie (fiancé, Pat) Selner; great-nieces and great-nephews  Lucy May Selner, Harper DeClerck and Nolan DeClerck and many cousins, extended family members and friends.
