NEWARK:  Rahm, Virginia L. “Jean”; died on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the age of 96. A graveside committal service will be held in the spring at Port Gibson Cemetery. Please consider memorials to a charity of your choice. Jean was born on March 5, 1921 in Newark, New York the daughter of Jacob and Louise Johnson King. She had retired from Newark DDSO after many years of service. Jean loved tending her gardens and flowers and had enjoyed garage sales with Jim for many years. Mrs. Rahm is survived by her daughters Betty (Roger) Yost and Judy Hagar; grandchildren Roger and Jeffrey Yost, Gene and Stephen Fletcher and John and Rick Hagar; several great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and son-in-law Ted Rankl. She was predeceased by her husband James E Rahm Sr.; daughter Sally Rankl; sons John Rahm and James Rahm Jr.; granddaughter Tonya Shelters; sisters Madelyn Bushart, Marilyn Foley and Leona Albrecht and brothers Jake and Robert King.
