NEWARK/AVON PARK, FL – Sally Rankl, 77, died Friday morning (June 23, 2017) at Florida Hospital Heartland Division.
Committal services will be held at 11am on Saturday, July 29 in Port Gibson Cemetery followed by a celebration of Sally’s life at the American Legion, 200 East Union St., Newark, NY 14513.
Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice in Sally's name.
She was born in New York, New York. She lived in Avon Park, Florida area for 6 years coming from Wauchula, Florida. She was a registered nurse working for the Veterans Administration in Canandaigua, New York. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in New York.
She is survived by her husband, Ted Rankl; mother, Virginia Rahm; sisters Judy Hagar, Betty Yost (Roger); sons Steven and Gene David Fletcher; grandchildren Jeff Shelters, Sarah Spalding and Gene David Fletcher; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, James Rahm; brothers James Jr. and John; daughter, Tonya Shelters.
