Rock Hill – Mr. Martin Thomas McEvoy passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at his home.

     Mr. McEvoy was born in Rochester, NY and was the son of the late Thomas and Marian Phuntner McEvoy.  He was owner and operator of McEvoy Motors, located in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate NY. He loved to share his passion for antique car restoration by teaching young kids how to weld and work on the cars he was restoring.  His hobbies included playing Christian music on his 12 string guitar and spending the day at the local race track. In addition to his parents, Mr. McEvoy was preceded in death by his brothers, James McEvoy and Edward McEvoy; and his sister-in-law, Donna McEvoy.

     Mr. McEvoy is survived by his wife, Diane M. Roberts; his daughters, Patricia Teed (and husband, Norman), Julie Teed (and husband, Joe) of Phelps, NY; his step-son, Jason Roberts (and wife, Lydia) of Topeka, KS; his brothers, Richard McEvoy (and wife, Mery) of Macedon, NY and Steven McEvoy (and wife, Anibet) of Palmyra, NY; as well as many grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

     A memorial service for Mr. McEvoy will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC with the Reverend Norman Teed officiating.  The family will receive family and friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. A Celebration of life service will be Sunday Jan 7 1-3pm at Cross Cross Creek Church - West Campus, 3527 Vienna St Palmyra NY 14522. Reception following.
