PALMYRA: Sturgill, Leon “Lee”; died on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the age of 66. The family will receive friends from 9–10am on Monday, October 30 at the First United Methodist Church of Palmyra where a memorial service will be held at 10am. A reception will follow the service at the Palmyra Fire Department.      Lee was born on March 20, 1951 in Keokee, Virginia to Denver and Retha Givens Sturgill. He was married to Janice Graves on August 11, 1984 in Millerton, PA. Lee was employed as a bus driver for Trailways in Rochester. In his spare time Lee enjoyed fishing and wood working.

    Mr. Sturgill is predeceased by his parents and son Jerry Sturgill. He is survived by his wife Jan; daughter Sharon Sturgill; sons Greg (Heather), Rich (Kayla) and Jason Sturgill; sisters Anna Mae (Ken) Huffman and Shawna (Robert) Cass; brothers Fred (Sue) and Lynn (Donna) Sturgill; grandchildren Cole, Evelyn, Ariana, Riley and Mera, several nieces and nephewsand his best friend David Doud.
