Edward “Jim” J. Grenga Jr.

Palmyra: Jim Grenga, 54 died Thursday, 5/11/2017. A memorial service will be Wed., 5/17 at 11 AM St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 873 Dewitt St, Syracuse, NY 13203, followed by a gathering in the fellowship hall. Memorial contributions may be directed to his sister, Ginger L.Rice, 465 Parker Road, Chesapeake VA 23322. Jim was born on May 7, 1963 in Syracuse the son of the Edward J. and Glenda (Goff) Grenga Sr. He was a graduate of East Syracuse Minoa. He worked as a Medical Supply Technician.He loved cooking, camping, computers and spending time with his family and friends. As well as being with his life partner and devoted caregiver LLisa Spencer and their beloved dog, Stormy. He is survived by his life partner; his son Derek S. Grenga; sisters, Ginger Rice and Gina Bristol; his father and step-mother, Edward J. Sr. (Patricia) Grenga; his step-father Seymour Roberts; Several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Glenda Roberts.
