NEWARK: Vito, Anthony S., died on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the age of 85. Tony's funeral mass will be at 10am on Friday, May 19 in St. Michael's Church in Newark. Military honors will follow. Interment will be in White Haven Memorial Park. Tony was born on July 14, 1931 in Rochester, NY the son of the late Salvatore and Clara Lippa-Vito. He served in the US Army from 1951-53 and had retired from Xerox as manager of quality control. Tony is survived by his wife Rachel (Gardiner) Vito; daughters Carolyn Mowery and Noelle (Frank) D'Amico; daughter-in-law Gail Fulton-Vito; grandchildren Brian and Emily Mowery, Olivia, Frankie, Michael and Sammy D'Amico and Danielle and Anthony Vito; great-granddaughter Mia Mowery; sister Barbara Shannahan and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Vito was predeceased by his son Salvatore.
